Olympique Marseille are reportedly ready to pay €12m for Fiorentina full-back Pol Lirola after a successful loan spell.

The original agreement had been an option to buy for €12m, but the French side refused to pay it, asking to renegotiate the deal.

Instead, Fiorentina raised the asking price to €15m for a sale.

According to RMC Sport, the clubs came back together and are on the verge of agreeing the original €12m fee.

The right-back turns 24 in August and also played for Juventus and Sassuolo.

Lirola joined Marseille on loan in January, impressing in 22 competitive appearances, contributing two goals and four assists.
