Marseille President Pablo Longoria insists Matteo Guendouzi’s move to Lazio is not a done deal yet: ‘Four parties must be satisfied.’

The former Arsenal midfielder is on the verge of moving to the Stadio Olimpico but despite reports of an imminent arrival for medical examinations, OM President Longoria has claimed that Guendouzi’s transfer is not yet done.

“I can confirm Guendouzi has an offer. The positions are clear and the parties involved are getting closer, but it’s not a done deal yet. There are many details to be fixed,” he said during Joaquin Correa’s unveiling press conference on Monday.

“Four parties are involved, the clubs and the player, but also the entourage. I can confirm there is an offer on the table, and I think you know the rest.”

According to several sources in Italy, Marseille and Lazio have shaken hands over a €13m deal plus €5m add-ons, but there is still no agreement between the Serie A side and the player’s entourage.
