Roma midfielder Jordan Veretout is attracting interest from several clubs, including Milan, Tottenham Hotspur and Olympique Marseille.

The France international midfielder is not part of Jose Mourinho’s plans for this season and the Giallorossi hope to sell over the summer.

According to various sources in Italy, Milan are keeping track of the 29-year-old as a possible alternative to Renato Sanches of LOSC, while Antonio Conte is intrigued by the idea of bringing him to Tottenham.

Now L’Equipe and Calciomercato.com point towards negotiations between Roma and Olympique Marseille to sign Veretout.

The two clubs had already discussed the possibility for Justin Kluivert, but have since abandoned that avenue.

Veretout played for FC Nantes, Aston Villa and Saint-Etienne before finding his form in Italy at Fiorentina in 2017.

He was then sold to Roma following an initial loan period at a total cost of €18.5m in 2019, but fell down the pecking order last season under new coach Mourinho.
