Marseille ask after Alexis Sanchez and Correa in assist for Inter

Inter need to sell in order to raise funds, as Olympique Marseille are linked with both Alexis Sanchez and Joaquin Correa.

The Nerazzurri confirmed they are in negotiations to bring in both free agent Paulo Dybala and Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku in a loan deal.

If Lautaro Martinez is also remaining, then it means they will need to sell some of their other forwards to make room and raise cash.

Alexis Sanchez is the highest-earning player in the squad on over €7m per season, so it had been suggested they could simply terminate his contract by mutual consent to get him off the wage bill.

However, TNT Sports in Chile now claim that he could move to Olympique Marseille to reunite with coach Jorge Sampaoli.

It was Sampaoli at the helm of Chile in 2015 that won the Copa America with Alexis Sanchez.

This follows other reports in Sportitalia that Marseille were also interested in Inter striker Tucu Correa, although the Argentina international seems less eager to move on from San Siro.

Edin Dzeko is expected to be sold this summer, just one season after his arrival from Roma at €1.5m.
