Inter CEO Beppe Marotta hints they do not need to poach Paulo Dybala from Coppa Italia rivals Juventus, because they ‘want to continue with the players we already have’ in attack.

The Final kicks off at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome at 20.00 UK time (19.00 GMT).

The winner will be decided after 90 minutes, or if needed extra time and even penalties.

Dybala starts and Marotta was asked again if Inter are ready to stage a swoop for the striker when his Juventus contract expires on June 30?

“We have to remember that looking at the statistics, we are the top scorers in Serie A this season, so we clearly have a strong strike force,” Marotta told Sport Mediaset.

“With that in mind, we are happy with our forwards and want to continue with the players that we already have.”

Inter go into a crunch few days for their entire campaign, challenging for the Coppa Italia and also the Serie A title with Milan.

“This is certainly one of the most important trophies in Italian football, one we have not won for 11 years, so we want to face this Final with determination, also knowing it is the Derby d’Italia and therefore even more motivation.

“One can always improve, whether you are a player, coach or director. This experience will help everyone to grow, especially as it’s a chaotic portion of the season with the Coppa Italia and the Scudetto up for grabs.

“I think it’s important that this squad gets accustomed to these situations and prepares them for next season’s ambitions too.”

Inter have already won the Supercoppa Italiana, but are still in the running for another two trophies.

“We are concentrated on this historic competition, which has value, and then at the end of the season we will have a consultation. It will be positive regardless, but even more so if we win more silverware.

“The vision around the club has changed over recent years. We struggled to bring in top players, but now the Inter brand has developed and we can attract those like Ivan Perisic to remain. We want to continue with him, we believe he feels the same way, and we’ll see if we can reach an economic agreement that suits everyone.”
