Multiple reports suggest former Juventus general manager Giuseppe Marotta is ready to join Inter.

It was officially confirmed last night that the 61-year-old has left his role with the Bianconeri, having previously been removed as CEO.

Juve paid the transfer expert €361,775 to terminate his contract, and he’s now free to negotiate with others clubs.

Today’s Tuttosport reports that he will take a role with Inter, something which has been rumoured ever since it emerged he’d be leaving the Old Lady.

Corriere della Sera agrees, stating that a three-year contract is ready with a salary which would approach €3m per season when certain bonuses and premiums are reached.

Marotta is expected to take up his role with Inter, which will likely see him oversee all football operations, before the end of the year.
