Inter director Beppe Marotta warns the Derby della Madonnina result against Milan will not be decisive for the Scudetto, but Marcelo Brozovic should agree a new contract ‘quickly’ despite Tottenham and Barcelona interest.

It kicks off at 17.00 GMT, you can follow all the build-up and action as it happens on the LIVEBLOG.

“This is a derby, we hope it will be a positive advertisement for the whole Calcio movement. There are still 15 rounds to go with 45 points up for grabs, so any result today will only be intermediary, it won’t decide anything,” Marotta told DAZN.

“In terms of city pride, it would mean a great deal for us to continue this positive run of results.”

Ivan Perisic will be out of contract on June 30 and his position is now very much in doubt after Inter signed Robin Gosens from Atalanta, essentially filling his role on the left flank.

“We thank the club owners for allowing us to add this figure to our squad, raising the quality level of the whole team. Ivan is a professional, he can be used on the right or left and represents an important option in Simone Inzaghi’s idea of football. Gosens was signed to add an extra alternative.”

Another player coming to the end of his contract is Marcelo Brozovic, who has been linked with Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur as a free agent.

“Both parties want to continue together, we are working on it to reach a conclusion. I hope we can seal the agreement quickly and that is what the fans want too.”
