Beppe Marotta is ‘honoured’ to be the new Inter President and insists he will rely on all his collaborators while at the helm of the club.

Oaktree named Marotta new Inter President earlier this week, and the former club’s CEO briefly spoke about his new role during the Festival della Serie A in Parma.

“This new role is highly exciting, and it’s an honour to me,” Marotta said.

“Inter are a great club, and it’s an honour to have become the President. I must count on all the collaborators and colleagues I have. There is already a great structure here.”

Inter won five titles during Marotta’s time at the club, including two Serie A titles.
