“This derby arrives in an extraordinary historic moment for both clubs, so the derby rivalry is united with the competitive nature of challenging for the top spot,” Marotta told DAZN.
“We have prepared this game in minute detail and we feel ready.”
These teams also faced off last month in the Coppa Italia quarter-final, with Inter winning 2-1 after Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s red card.
Many have urged Romelu Lukaku and Ibrahimovic to shake hands before kick-off, to put their ugly row behind them.
“The derby has always been rather fiery, but aside from what happens on the field, the messages must always be positive. We hope they can make up today.”
Marotta was also asked about the on-going reports that Suning are trying to sell all their shares in the club and not just a portion.
“I am certain the club will evaluate every decision it has to make for the good of the club. As for us in the directorial roles, we are working to ensure the season can end in the best way.”
