Beppe Marotta confirmed “Hernanes is a Juventus player” in a deal worth €11m with Inter.

The 30-year-old is expected to sign a three-year contract worth €2.7m per season.

“It’s all done now,” Bianconeri director general Marotta told FcInterNews.

“Hernanes is a Juventus player. He is coming to Turin in an €11m transfer.”

The official Juventus Twitter account released a photograph of the Brazilian starting his medical in Turin.

Hernanes is the trequartista Max Allegri was looking for, after attempts to sign Julian Draxler and Axel Witsel fell through.

He only joined Inter in January 2014 from Lazio for €18m.

Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri will make three official buys before the transfer deadline.

Alex Telles and Felipe Melo arrive from Galatasaray, while a deal is done for Roma striker Adem Ljajic.
