Marotta has Roma-Juve demands

Juventus director general Beppe Marotta demands “an important performance” against Roma on Sunday. “The prize is first rate.”

Both clubs have had a rough campaign and this weekend's clash could make or break their hopes of European qualification.

“I hope this game can be a great advert for football in terms of spectacle and fair play,” said Marotta.

“The prize at stake is first rate and I expect the players on the field to put in an important performance that can be appreciated by the supporters.”

Juventus fans have repeatedly protested against the club and Coach Gigi Del Neri in recent weeks, as they slipped to seventh place.

“The fans want results and it is only right that they demand that. We just ask for a little more patience, because all areas of the club are putting in the maximum effort to give the supporters what they want.”
