Inter CEO Beppe Marotta has claimed ‘anything can happen’ in the Scudetto battle and has targeted success on all fronts this season.
Third-placed Nerazzurri are currently nine points behind league leaders Juventus, with 13 games remaining and one in hand on their rivals.
Marotta has claimed there’s everything to play for and pointed out that the short-term target is to win the Coppa Italia and then move on to Serie A and the Europa League.

Marotta has claimed there’s everything to play for and pointed out that the short-term target is to win the Coppa Italia and then move on to Serie A and the Europa League.
“We have the same objectives as before, to be a protagonist,” he told the Corriere dello Sport. “With 13 games remaining, anything can happen.
“We participate to be the protagonists. The Coppa Italia is a closer target, the more ambitious one is the Europa League.”
The CEO praised coach Antonio Conte for bringing Inter in a position to fight for silverware this term.
“He is a great professional, dedicates everything to his job. He has passion, love and excellent skills.
“With these premises, everything becomes much simpler. The dynamics are indicated by him. He has always respected me, the club and the owners.
“We want to raise the bar and the quality of the Inter group.”
Marotta is well travelled in football and has claimed that Juventus patron Andrea Agnelli and Inter chief Steven Zhang have a similar approach.
“I have worked in many places, if I look at my last two experiences, there are some principles that unite Agnelli and Zhang.
“There’s a great sense of belonging, winning, the work culture and the passion. Inter have them today too. The ambition is to get back to the top.”
