New Pescara boss Pasquale Marino says he’s moved to the seaside outfit with the intention of leading them straight back into Serie A.

Marino has been appointed after the relegated outfit went through three bosses in the 2012-13 campaign – Giovanni Stroppa, Cristiano Bergodi and then Cristian Bucchi.

“The fans want to see Pescara play good football and we will therefore try and get results by doing that,” he told Radio CRC.

“What interests us is that fans turn up to the stadium to be entertained.

“Saying that, it is obvious that our first objective is to get back into the top flight and we will certainly give that a go.”

Marino added that his side will play with a 4-3-3 – the same shape used by Zdenek Zeman’s promotion winning outfit in 2011-12.
