Former Italy international Enzo Maresca is set to become the new coach of the Manchester City elite development squad.

The 40-year-old replaces Paul Harsley in the role at the City youth academy, according to Manchester Evening News and Sky Sport Italia.

Maresca has management experience as assistant manager to Mauricio Pellegrini at West Ham United.

Before that, he worked under Fulvio Fiorin at Ascoli, Vincenzo Montella and Joaquin Caparros at Sevilla.
