New signings Marcos Antonio and Matteo Cancellieri impressed as Lazio beat Primorje 4-0 in a pre-season friendly.

It was their fourth and final test at the Auronzo di Cadore camp against Slovenian side Primorje.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic opened the scoring when meeting a corner kick, then Pedro went on a solo run through opposition defenders to double their lead.

Marcos Antonio was in the starting XI and impressed in midfield, earning applause from the supporters and almost finding the net, denied only by the frame of the goal.

Coach Maurizio Sarri transformed the side at half-time, but the general tactical approach remained the same.

Danilo Cataldi scored with a trademark scorcher from distance, before ex-Verona forward Cancellieri sealed the 4-0 result.

Cancellieri also picked up a knee injury in the final minute, while Nicolò Casale did not play again due to a knee issue.

Lazio: Maximiano; Lazzari, Gila, Romagnoli, Marusic; Milinkovic-Savic, Marcos Antonio, Basic; Pedro, Immobile, Zaccagni
