Claudio Marchisio did not hold back on criticism of Juventus after a 2-1 defeat to Verona. ‘There are so many problems, we’re completely lost at sea.’

This was the second consecutive Serie A loss after an identical scoreline against Sassuolo, leaving the Bianconeri with only 15 points from 11 rounds.

Watching at home, former Juve star Marchisio expressed his frustration on Twitter, joined by fellow supporters who were stunned at the early Giovanni Simeone brace at the Stadio Bentegodi.

“This is a difficult moment,” wrote Marchisio. “There are so many problems, but it’s not just about the quality of the individuals.

“This is a side lacking a tempo, intensity and determination, as well as a tactical idea to build on.

“However, we fans must always stay close to the team, especially now. More united than ever!”

Marchisio did take some time to vent a little more frustration in another tweet.

“We’re completely lost at sea. Verona with such great tempo and intensity.”

  1. Marchisio speaks the truth. This team doesn’t know what to do with the ball. There is no tactical identity or approach. This lopsided 4-4-2 is complete crap.

  2. allegri going need to try a different formation. he cant continue with the same 422/433 juve dont have 3 good midfielders . anytime i see allegri put out a starting lineup with 3 of these midfielders i know juve going struggle. juve only got one good midfielder in locatelli, rabiot does his own thing and is lazy. mckennie seems to be coming back into form . i am playing either a 343 or a 4231 going forward

  3. When you start Bentancur, Rabiot, Cuadrado.. three headless chickens, this is the result you get. These three should never start in my opinion.

  4. bentancur was promising youngster back in 2018, just don’t know since when he becoming like this…
    who’s poisoning him? wkwkwkwk
