Claudio Marchisio has revealed he would love to coach Juventus and “sees himself” in Gaetano Castrovilli, Nicolò Barella and Lorenzo Pellegrini.
Marchisio was forced to hang up his boots in October 2019, having struggled with persistent knee problems.
Speaking during a live Instagram Q&A, the 34-year-old admitted he missed playing football.
“I miss the dressing room so much because you live your work there every day,” said Marchisio.

The ex-Italy midfielder was then asked about the players who could possibly succeed him in terms of characteristics.
“Above all, I see myself in Castrovilli, Barella and Pellegrini. I was a player who could play multiple roles.”
Marchisio has so far shown no inclination to become a coach, but he confessed he could not refuse if Juve came calling.
“If it’s Juve then yes, but not everyone can be a coach.”
