Lazio goalkeeper Federico Marchetti has passed a medical ahead of his proposed move to Genoa.
Gianluca Di Marzio’s website also reports Marchetti has already signed a two-year contract with Genoa, which includes the option of a third season.
The 35-year-old failed to make a single appearance for Lazio last season but has nonetheless played almost 200 times in Serie A and represented Italy at the 2010 World Cup.

He had also been linked with Juventus as a No 2 to Wojciech Szczesny following Gianluigi Buffon’s departure but now looks like pushing Mattia Perin to Turin instead.
