Lazio and Italy breathe a sigh of relief after medics assure Federico Marchetti’s shoulder injury is “nothing serious.”
The goalkeeper fell awkwardly during training today and interrupted the session early to go for tests on his right shoulder.
“Marchetti had a trauma to the right shoulder and felt pain after making a save, so interrupted the training session as a precautionary measure,” explained chief medic Professor Enrico Castellacci.
“It seems to be nothing serious, though. Federico will now rest and tomorrow morning he’ll undergo more tests.
“There do not appear to be any serious lesions to cause concern.”
