Valencia Coach Marcelino insists the permanent signing of Geoffrey Kondogbia from Inter is ‘a done deal.’
The French midfielder has enjoyed a highly impressive loan spell at the Mestalla this season, contributing four goals and four assists from 29 appearances as the Spanish side look to secure a return to the Champions League.
Speaking after Los Che’s 3-1 win over Alaves in La Liga yesterday, Marcelino said the acquisition of the 25-year-old is a no-brainer.

Speaking after Los Che’s 3-1 win over Alaves in La Liga yesterday, Marcelino said the acquisition of the 25-year-old is a no-brainer.
“The signing of Kondogbia is a done deal,” the Spanish tactician told reporters.
“You wouldn’t even have to ask me [whether I want him to sign]. It’s like asking me whether I’d prefer a Fiat 600 or a Lamborghini!”
It is not the first time Marcelino has spoken of Kondogbia in such glowing terms.
On Friday, the Valencia boss described his midfielder as better than Manchester United’s Paul Pogba.
