That’s because they are focused on investing on young talents for the future, so would use that money on Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland instead.
Marca also note the same is true of Gareth Bale, who is currently on loan at Tottenham Hotspur.
Should Spurs not purchase Bale outright, he would still not be welcome back in Madrid.
