According to Marca, Lazio defender Luiz Felipe has accepted an offer from Betis and will move to Spain as a free agent at the end of the season.

The contract of the Brazilian defender at the Stadio Olimpico expires on June 30 and Inter were also linked with securing his services.

However, according to Marca, Luiz Felipe has accepted an offer from Betis Sevilla and will move to La Liga at the end of the current campaign.

The 24-year-old will reportedly sign a four-year deal with the Spanish club.

Luiz Felipe has played 30 games with Lazio this season. He was born in Brazil on March 22 1997, but has an Italian passport and was included in the squad for a get-together at Coverciano at the end of January.

  1. Really?! Seems very strange for him to have already chosen Betis when he is supposedly of interest to Inter, Atletico etc. No offence to Betis but they are currently at a similar level to Lazio, have been far less successful in terms of trophies and probably don’t pay much different. Why would he go there?
