Spanish newspaper Marca claim that Lautaro Martinez’s agent met with both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid this week, but Inter aren’t prepared to sell.

The striker is negotiating a new contract at San Siro and has not yet finalised the details.

This is in part because he was waiting to see how the financial situation develops at the club, who received fresh funds from Oaktree Capital this week.

According to Marca, Lautaro Martinez’s representative Alejandro Camano has been casting his net around in La Liga to see if there are any potential offers.

It’s claimed he met with both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid directors over the last few days, but the paper also notes that Inter are in no mood to sell.

The Argentine already admitted several times that he had been very close to joining Barcelona last summer, even discussing it with Lionel Messi, but ultimately made “the right choice” by staying at Inter and winning the Scudetto.
