The Sardinians were still smarting after a last-gasp penalty awarded using VAR pegged them back to 2-2 last Sunday.
“I am happy for the lads, who did such a great job. We had the courage that you need when facing a team like Atalanta,” Maran told Radio Rai.

“We are improving in our interpretation and consistency during the 90 minutes. It’s not easy to contain Atalanta and I want to underline the teamwork that made it happen.”
