Napoli talisman Ezequiel Lavezzi says Diego Maradona has given him permission to wear the club's No 10 shirt.
The Argentine's number is currently retired in recognition of his achievements at the San Paolo.
Speaking to Sky Italia, Lavezzi said: "I have spoken with Diego and he told me that I can wear his No 10 shirt.
"It's a great joy for me."

Reflecting on the form of his teammate Edinson Cavani, he said: "Well, at the beginning we didn't expect him to be so strong, but he has always worked a lot and is showing himself to be a really great player.
"Anyway, right now each player within the team is doing their bit for the cause and this is one of our secrets."
Asked if he is jealous of Cavani, he said: "Absolutely not. It's right that Edy goes through this period of his life rich with satisfaction.
"He is doing well and we must profit best from his form."
