Diego Armando Maradona has reassured everyone he is “fine and sorry to have worried you” after his stay in hospital.
The Napoli and Argentina legend was taken to the Clinica Olivios in Buenos Aires on Friday evening after a routine check-up showed blood in his stomach.
However, he was sent home a few hours later and spoke to supporters via social media.

“I wish to reassure you that there’s nothing serious, I am fine. Today I am taking care of my grandchildren Benja, Dieguito Matias and my son Diego Fernando.
“A kiss to you all.”
