Former Napoli president Corrado Ferlaino said ‘Now we can only cry’ after Diego Maradona’s death.
The Argentina world cup winner joined the Azzurri in 1984 and played with the Azzurri until 1991. Ferlaino was the president of Napoli at that time.
“Maradona meant a lot to Napoli and Naples. As a Neapolitan I can only cry now," he told Sky TG 24.
“Maradona gave a lot to Napoli and to me. He hadn’t felt well many times but he always overcame his crisis. This time not, we can only cry now.”
