Diego Maradona said it is “disgusting and shameful” that Italy Coach Antonio Conte has already signed for Chelsea.
The Azzurri boss will be out of contract after Euro 2016 and announced he has put pen to paper on a deal to take over at Stamford Bridge next season.
“What happened is disgusting!” Maradona told Italian TV station Piùenne.
“The Coach of the Italian Nazionale who signs for Chelsea! That seems shameful to me.”
He wasn’t much kinder to the current football scene in Argentina.
