Juventus will be without Mario Mandzukic for three weeks, after the striker picked up a thigh injury.

The Croatian went off injured during the weekend win over Genoa, and was unable to take part in a training session today.

“Following the muscular problem reported yesterday, the Croatian striker was subjected to diagnostic tests,” the Bianconeri explained on their official website.

“They showed a first-grade lesion of the biceps femoris in his right thigh. He will have to wait 20 days before returning to competitive action.”

Alvaro Morata was also an injury casualty in the match at Stadio Luigi Ferraris, but tests on the Spaniard were less conclusive.

“Morata also completed the necessary diagnostic tests, which have excluded muscular injuries to the abdominal wall, therefore his condition will be monitored in the coming hours.”

The Old Lady face newly-promoted Frosinone at Juventus Stadium on Wednesday, but it is unclear whether Morata will be fit for the match.
