Torino midfielder Rolando Mandragora will undergo meniscus surgery tomorrow and is expected to remain out of action for at least 40 days.
The 24-year-old was forced off the pitch in the first half of Torino’s away clash against Napoli on Sunday.
Mandragora had sustained a cruciate ligament injury in 2020 and there was fear as his injury in Naples seemed similar. No coincidence the former Genoa man left the pitch in tears.
The player’s right knee has not been affected by the injury, but Mandragora will have to undergo surgery tomorrow.
According to Il Corriere di Torino’s Gianluca Sartori, Mandragora will be forced out of action for at least 40 days.
#Torino, Mandragora si opera domani a Bologna. Tempi di recupero (per ora è una stima): 40gg
