The Coach rushed under the Curva to celebrate with his squad following a last-gasp equaliser from Juanito Gomez Taleb.
“I don’t know the future, but the present saw us involved in a game that we did not deserve to lose,” Mandorlini told Sky Sport Italia.
“This match was the right conclusion to a great campaign, as we amassed 100 points over two seasons.”
Toni had earlier scored and will now be Capocannoniere unless Mauro Icardi scores two or more for Inter against Empoli tomorrow night.
“The title is close, but we have to wait. He is a real champion and deserves to be Capocannoniere.”
Mandorlini was also asked about his own future, as he could part company with Hellas Verona.
“I spoke to the President, but it was a general discussion rather than about contracts. We’ll meet again soon. Over the next week we’ll evaluate whether we still have the same ideas.”
