The Coach spoke to TRT Spor ahead of tonight’s friendly match in Istanbul, as it is also the chance for clubs to discuss Melo.

“He is a player who could bring something to Inter, but right now he has a contract with Galatasaray. We’ll see what happens,” commented Mancio.

“Medel? We won’t sell him. We do have to sell some players because we are only allowed 25 in the squad. However, Medel is not on the exit list, so he will remain with the team.

“On the other hand, we could sell Yuto Nagatomo.”

It has been rumoured Inter have offered cash plus Nagatomo for Melo, whereas Galatasaray asked for Chile international midfielder Medel.

Mancini was also asked about reports Zlatan Ibrahimovic could move to Galatasaray.

“He is a very important player. I haven’t heard anything about these rumours, but it would be a big coup for Galatasaray.”
