The Nerazzurri travel to Stadio Friuli tomorrow, looking to maintain heir position at the top of Serie A.

“We have one objective, we play to win and we hope to do that tomorrow,” Mancini told reporters in his pre-match Press conference.

“Udinese are in a good period, they have good players and an experienced Coach [Stefano Colantuono. It should be a great game.

“No game in Italy is easy if you don’t approach it in the right way. Then you can meet a team that’s superior and scores three goals in the first half like Bologna [against Napoli].

“Tomorrow will be tough, and we have to be fighters.

“Who will play? [Samir] Handanovic will play, then Miranda, [Jeison] Murillo, [Adem] Ljajic and [Alex] Telles.”

The Beneamata were ‘winning ugly’ according to many at the start of the season, but are now being praised for their style, is that what Mancini expected?

“I was hoping to be in a good position at Christmas, close to the top. To let a bit of a gap open up could cause a problem.

“The League is also a bit more settled after November, I think that’s normal. The Champions League is our target, and we hope to hit it.

“The positions change Sunday-to-Sunday, so we’ll look at things after January.”

It was reported this week that Boca Juniors striker Jonathan Calleri had agreed a deal to join the Nerazzurri, and the Coach admits that they are interested.

“He’s young, he’s good, he has quality,” Mancini said.

“I don’t know if he’ll come to Inter, but we’ve been following him for some time.”
