Mancio worked with the Ivorian in his time as City manager, and the player has already been linked with a move to the Nerazzurri.
“Yaya is one of the best players in the world,” Mancini said in an interview with Il Giornale.

“Yaya is one of the best players in the world,” Mancini said in an interview with Il Giornale.
“He still would be [if he came to Italy]. He’s played for a lot of teams.
“He’s been to Belgium, Russia, Spain and England, but he’s missing Italy. It could be a good opportunity for him to come and try.
“We’re building, but there are players who can immediately change the face of a team and Yaya is one of them.
“Next year we can prove ourselves, with three signings you’ll see that we’ll be ready for the Scudetto fight.”
The Coach also reflected on his time in England, insisting that life is more laid-back in the Premier League.
“Do I miss drinking wine with Sir Alex Ferguson? It was good, and it reminds me of winning at Old Trafford.
“Here we don’t do that. Can you imagine? It’s already laborious to shake hands after the game! There’s a culture of being angry here.
“We’re agitated, angry [in Italy]. [Indonesian President Erick] Thohir lives his life differently, like the Anglo-Saxons do.”
