Roberto Mancini’s Inter staff should include Daniele Adani and Josè Duquè, firing Beppe Baresi after 31 years.
The new Coach starts work today and will hold his first training session this afternoon, having replaced Walter Mazzarri.
It’s widely reported Mancini will hire Adani as his assistant manager, plus Fausto Salsano, fitness coach Ivan Carminati, goalkeeping coach Giulio Nuciari and Sergio Viganò.
Another new addition is Josè Duquè, who first worked with Mancini at Manchester City as team manager, leaving the club along with Mancio in May 2013.
He had also followed the Coach to Galatasaray as assistant manager and is now expected to become team manager at San Siro.
More importantly, this means scrapping Mazzarri’s assistant manager Baresi from the Nerazzurri staff.
It would see former defender – and brother of Milan legend Franco Baresi – leave Inter after 31 years as player and assistant to every tactician from Jose Mourinho onwards.
Sky Sport Italia and La Gazzetta dello Sport note that Mancini and Baresi never saw eye to eye.
