Roberto Mancini insists he saw no difference between the Inter that beat Palermo 3-0 and side that lost three in a row.
The Nerazzurri had lost to Torino, Sassuolo and Napoli between Serie A and Coppa Italia, but got right back on track.
“Tonight’s Inter is the one I wanted. It’s also the one I saw against Napoli and Sassuolo. The only time it wasn’t my Inter was against Empoli, as in the other occasions we made costly mistakes,” Mancio told Sky Sport Italia.

“Tonight’s Inter is the one I wanted. It’s also the one I saw against Napoli and Sassuolo. The only time it wasn’t my Inter was against Empoli, as in the other occasions we made costly mistakes,” Mancio told Sky Sport Italia.
“We have to keep training, as things are starting to go our way and at times you need a bit of luck too.”
Palermo somehow failed to score in a move that saw them hit the woodwork and fire over from a couple of yards.
“I don’t know how Dodo made that mistake, as he had a teammate three metres away and wasn’t even under pressure. This is the kind of error that we paid for in the other games. We cannot keep giving the ball away in these situations,” complained Mancini.
Mauro Icardi bagged a brace tonight, but refused to celebrate. Last week he got into a blazing row with Inter fans at Sassuolo when he and Fredy Guarin threw their shirts into the crowd only to see them hurled right back.
“In my opinion you should celebrate after a goal! I don’t think he’s unhappy, I assume it’s a left-over from last Sunday. The fans cheered him, so it seems to be sorted out.
“Guarin played well, though at times he gets a bit stubborn with the ball and can lose his way. He’s perfect as the deeper point of a midfield three, as he plays the ball well and has great power.”
Marcelo Brozovic arrived in January, but has already made his way into the regular starting XI.
“He’s young and certainly not 100 per cent fit, while it takes a couple of months to acclimatise. I think he can comfortably also play in a two-man midfield, as he does that for Croatia. I’m very happy we signed him.”
