“When you're dealing with lads that could be your sons, you have to be well-behaved,” he told the TG1 news transmission. “The Coach has to be a father too.

“Personally, I started as a Coach when I was very young, but now I'm 52 and I work with kids that are the age of my sons.

“I've gathered a little bit of experience and, as I said, it's not always that simple as I work with players that come from other nations and have different habits. So it's necessary to know how to adapt.”
