Manchester United are ready for a new round of talks as they reportedly push to complete a deal for Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
The 27-year-old Frenchman is on the way out of Turin after failing to particularly convince coach Massimiliano Allegri last campaign. The Red Devils are desperate to inject some life into their languishing midfield after a disastrous start to their Premier League season, and believe Rabiot is the right option for Erik ten Haag.
As highlighted by Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United want to complete a deal for Rabiot soon and they’re ready for a new round of talks with the Frenchman’s agent and mother Veronique. All parties want to finalise things soon and Juventus are ready to receive around €17-18m for the midfielder.
Rabiot joined the Bianconeri in July 2019 on a free transfer after his contract expired with Paris Saint-Germain. He’s made 129 appearances across all competitions since his arrival, scoring six goals and providing six assists.
