Inter are under siege from Premier League clubs who want defender Alessandro Bastoni, as Manchester United join Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur in a bidding war.

The centre-back is one of the most valuable players in the Nerazzurri squad and valued at a minimum of €70m.

Because of this, and Inter’s well-known financial problems, they could be forced to sell if the right offer comes in.

Conte is eager for a reunion after winning the Serie A title at Inter with Bastoni in his three-man defence.

However, now Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio claims that Manchester United are also keeping a close eye on the situation and ready to make their move.

The 23-year-old might not be tempted by Manchester United, because they are not in the Champions League, whereas both Inter and Tottenham will be in the tournament.

The same report from Di Marzio argues Manchester United are also competing with Milan and Newcastle United for LOSC defender Sven Botman.
