Manchester United’s talks for Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot are reportedly starting to stall, leaving the deal at risk of collapse.
The Red Devils are desperately looking to inject some life into their midfield following an incredibly unconvincing start to the Premier League season. Juventus froze Rabiot out of their squad this summer, keen to re-home him a year ahead of his contract expiry, and they’ve already agreed the terms of a deal with Manchester United.
As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Manchester United’s work to sign Rabiot is starting to slow as the two parties still cannot reach an agreement regarding his salary. The Frenchman has high demands, possibly around €8-10m net per season, which the Red Devils are refusing to meet.
Rabiot is also unconvinced about the move due to the fact that the team aren’t competing in the Champions League.
The stalling of this deal means Juventus are unlikely to make a move for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Leandro Paredes for the time being.
Who can blame Rabiot, going from hell to another hell
Second rate player who never fulfill his potential. Perfect for United
Froze out him and after season will not get nothing
Freeze him out but I trust Allegri to start him once his sweet mommy flashes her kitty cat. Simp.
All hail the mighty Turin kittens masters of the transfer market.
Man U finally did their research and watched some videos of Rabiot?
When he turns up for training – freeze him out all teams and make him train seperately and also fine him heavily
Regardless it’s been a good transfer market. Bremer has settled in immediately. Kostic played well. The youngsters are growing. We don’t have to sell our young talent unlike others. Keep eating thems lemons…
young talent .. what young talent ye don’t play any of them …..
He wants to play CL, fair enough, but is there any CL teams interested in this guy? and who could afford to pay his salary demands? I think not.
