After Liverpool and Barcelona, now Manchester United are reported to be making a bid for Fiorentina and Morocco midfielder Sofyan Amrabat.

His profile sky-rocketed during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, which saw Morocco go all the way to the semi-finals and eventually clinch fourth place.

Liverpool had shown a strong interest, but Amrabat had been on the verge of a January transfer to Barcelona.

That fell apart because the Blaugrana could only offer a loan with option to buy, which was unacceptable to the Viola.

According to Catalan newspaper Sport, a new and improved proposal is coming in this summer from Manchester United.

A sale over the next few weeks is almost a guarantee, considering Amrabat is only tied to a contract until June 2024.

He seems to have his heart set on Barcelona, but Manchester United are said to be intensifying negotiations and hope to change his mind.

Meanwhile, Amrabat is gearing up for the Conference League Final between Fiorentina and West Ham United.
