Inter and Manchester United are continuing to negotiations regarding Andre Onana and Sky Sports Italia suggests that a deal is not far from being agreed.

The Red Devils are looking for a new long-term goalkeeper, having decided to let David de Gea leave on a free transfer after initially offering him a new contract.

Manchester United have identified Onana as their top target and have already submitted two offers to Inter, with the improved bid totally around €50m including add-ons.

Sky Sports Italia details how Inter are still demanding €60m for Onana but would likely settle with an offer worth around €55m total.

Manchester United are in close contact with the Nerazzurri and current indications suggest that a deal could be agreed in the early stages of next week.

The 27-year-old Cameroonian shot stopper joined Inter on a free transfer last summer and quickly took on the number one spot under Simone Inzaghi. He played a crucial role in the team’s unexpected path to the Champions League final, keeping eight clean sheets.
