Inter are rebuffing offers for Milan Skriniar and Alessandro Bastoni, but could raise funds by selling Stefan de Vrij to Manchester United or Aston Villa.

The last few weeks have been dominated by reports of bidding wars between various clubs for the Nerazzurri centre-backs.

Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and more are all clamouring for Skriniar and Bastoni, but the asking price for both is in the region of €90-100m.

On the other hand, Sportitalia now report that Inter could part with De Vrij instead.

The Netherlands international is 30 years old and his contract is due to expire in June 2023.

He joined from Lazio as a free agent in 2018 and made 41 competitive appearances for Inter this season, scoring one goal.

Sportitalia maintain there is interest for De Vrij from Manchester United and Aston Villa as well as other unnamed Premier League clubs.

Newcastle United are looking for a defender, battling Milan for Lille’s Sven Botman, so they too are bound to be in the running for De Vrij.
