Manchester City striker Erling Haaland was spotted in Italy, visiting the Ferrari Factory in Maranello and having dinner in Bologna.

The Norway international is one of the most notable absentees at the World Cup as his national team failed to qualify for Qatar 2022.

Therefore, the 22-year-old is now enjoying some holidays and spent the last few days in Italy, precisely in the region of Emilia Romagna.

As reported by Il Corriere Della Sera, Haaland visited the Ferrari Factory in Maranello on November 28 and is thought to have bought one car after his visit. The ex-Borussia Dortmund star has a big passion for supercars and, last summer, he was seen driving a Ferrari SF90 Stradale in Marbella.

He had lunch at the famous restaurant ristorante Montana in Fiorano Modenese, where many VIPs and even Ferrari drivers usually stop by to eat.

He took a picture and signed a Manchester City shirt for owners, writing: ‘To Rossella, this was the best pasta I’ve ever eaten, Grazie.’

He continued his tour of the region on November 30, visiting the Cantine ‘Cantina Cesari’ in Castel San Pietro and having dinner at Bologna’s Ristorante Diana, owned by former basket referee Stefano Tedeschi who described Haaland as a very ‘available and easy-going person’, as reported by Il Resto Del Carlino.
