Adrien Rabiot is still on track to leave Juventus in less than four months’ time and Manchester City are keeping a close eye on the situation, reports detail.

The 27-year-old Frenchman has proven himself an important part of Massimiliano Allegri’s Bianconeri squad this season, playing a key role in the centre of the midfield. His current deal expires at the end of this season and the club are keen to retain the former Paris Saint-Germain man, but talks have not gone particularly well with his mother-agent Veronique.

Latest reports suggested that Juventus have offered Rabiot a new two-year contract worth around €7m net per season, the same salary he currently earns. The offer is far off his €10m wage demands.

As reported by La Stampa, Rabiot is hoping for a move to the Premier League in the summer and has attracted the attention of Manchester City, who are keeping tabs on his position with Juventus.

This season, Rabiot has scored five goals and provided two assists in 20 Serie A appearances.
