Juventus are inclined to sell Joao Cancelo this summer, with Manchester City and Manchester United ready for a €60m bidding war.

The Portugal international had been brought in from Valencia last summer at a cost of €40m following his Serie A loan spell with Inter.

His performances this term did not entirely convince Coach Max Allegri, who was frustrated at his tendency to make defensive errors.

It had been reported Cancelo was on his way out because of the friction with Allegri, but the Coach has now been dismissed.

The English media suggest City and United are entering a bidding war, with the Premier League title holders the current favourites on €60m.

However, that will inevitably depend on whether Manchester City see their transfer activity blocked as part of an investigation into Financial Fair Play violations.
