Manchester United are still undecided regarding the future of Fiorentina’s Sofyan Amrabat and are keeping a close eye on the Adrien Rabiot situation.

The Moroccan midfielder spent the 2023-24 season on loan with the Red Devils, where he struggled to fully settle amidst tactical issues and poor form. He saw 1545 minutes of action across 30 appearances and returned to Florence at the start of this month, leaving his future uncertain.

In the meantime, there is now more clarity surrounding the future of Rabiot after Juventus confirmed that his contract would not be renewed, making him available on a free transfer. Real Madrid and Milan have both been linked with a move in recent weeks.

Man Utd look to Amrabat and Rabiot

Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth detailed how Manchester United are still considering whether or not to activate the €25m buy option on Amrabat following his return to Fiorentina, open to retaining him despite his difficult debut campaign.

The Red Devils are also keeping tabs on Rabiot after his departure from Juventus was confirmed. They were interested in the Frenchman last summer but failed to finalise a deal.
