The Bianconeri are using their own players as part-exchanges to bring down the cost of transfer fees in the post-pandemic age.
Rabiot has struggled for playing time since arriving as a free agent from PSG last summer, so is the ideal candidate to be swapped out.
Manchester United have shown interest in the Frenchman before and had been in a bidding war with Juve for his signature last year.

So although Rabiot could well be included in any deal bringing Pogba to Turin, he’ll be a far smaller part of the equation than Juve would like.
