According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Manchester United have made an improved bid worth €50m for Inter keeper André Onana.

The Red Devils have reportedly made an improved offer to sign the 27-year-old, who joined Inter on a free transfer from Ajax last summer.

According to the latest report of Gazzetta dello Sport, United’s new offer is worth €50m, including add-ons, but this is still not enough for the Nerazzurri.

The Red Devils coach Erik ten Hag has put the Cameroon international at the top of his shopping list, but Inter don’t want to sell for less than €60m.

Manchester United had reportedly made a first formal bid in the region of €40-45m earlier this week.

According to the report, United are keen on signing the ex-Ajax keeper, who already played under Ten Hag in Amsterdam, so they could eventually match Inter’s asking price.

Inter director Piero Ausilio said on Wednesday evening that the Nerazzurri expected a higher offer for Onana, which the Nerazzurri have now received.

If they sell Onana for the fee they want, Inter will invest the money in the permanent signing of Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea.

Which club is a big club? United?
Onana played at the highest level of club football – CL final and was the most confident player on the pitch. When was the last time MU played the CL?
