Lazio have reportedly turned down a €25m Manchester United offer for defender Stefan de Vrij.
The Dutch international centre-back arrived over the summer from Feyenoord for around €8.5m.
According to English paper Metro, Louis van Gaal is determined to bring De Vrij to Old Trafford for next season.
However, Lazio President Claudio Lotito point-blank rejected the proposal, said to be worth in the region of £18.9m.
